Is this a co-incidence or perfectly planned?

Abraham Lincoln was elected to Congress in 1846.

John F. Kennedy was elected to Congress in 1946.

Abraham Lincoln was elected President in 1860.

John F. Kennedy was elected President in 1960.

Both were particularly concerned with civil rights.

Both wives lost their children while living in the White House.

Both Presidents were shot on a Friday.

Both Presidents were shot in the head.

Now it gets really weird.

Lincoln 's secretary was named Kennedy.

Kennedy's Secretary was named Lincoln.

Both were assassinated by Southerners.

Both were succeeded by Southerners named Johnson.

Andrew Johnson, who succeeded Lincoln , was born in 1808.

Lyndon Johnson, who succeeded Kennedy, was born in 1908.

John Wilkes Booth, who assassinated Lincoln , was born in 1839.

Lee Harvey Oswald, who assassinated Kennedy, was born in 1939.

Both assassins were known by their three names.

Both names are composed of fifteen letters.

Now hang on to your seat.

Lincoln was shot at the theater named 'Ford'.

Kennedy was shot in a car called ' Lincoln ' made by 'Ford'.

Lincoln was shot in a theater and his assassin ran and hid in a warehouse.

Kennedy was shot from a warehouse and his assassin ran and hid in a theater.

Booth and Oswald were assassinated before their trials.

And here's the kicker...

A week before Lincoln was shot, he was in Monroe , Maryland

A week before Kennedy was shot, he was with Marilyn Monroe.

So what do you call this? Co-incidence? Planned murders? Fate? God's decision? What else??

Your single mouse click is worth one time food for poor

We receive every scams and hoaxes everyday to our mailbox. Clicking Ads, earning money online, mails threatening to forward it to many people otherwise something bad will happen, false and edited photos.. bla bla blaas... But one thing we find from them is, everything is a hoax and nothing proves real... But onething i found real recently is this.
http://www.bhookh.com
This is the website which is governed by an NGO of India which is a Non-profit also. Logic behind this site is, this organization had tie - ups with many sponsors who have promised to pay certain amount of money daily as donations for the poor people in India. The amount of money collected from the sponsors depends upon the number of users who visited the page per single day. Every time you visit the page, value of one cup of food will be billed to the sponsors and the sponsors will pay for it. Hence the nett result is you are indirectly giving a cup of food for the poor everyday.
Each person can click the donate button only once in a single day. Its not like clicking the donate button thousand times will feed thousand people. Each viewer will be counted once for a day and obviously you can click once everyday. I request all to view this everyday and our single mouse click can feed a poor person.

Fantastic one

MBA v/s Engineer ...

An MBA and an Engineer go on a camping trip,
set up their tent, and fall asleep.
Some hours later, the Engineer wakes his MBA friend.
"Look up at the sky and tell me what you see."

The MBA replies, "I see millions of stars."
"What does that tell you?"

The MBA ponders for a minute...

"Astronomically speaking, it tells me that there are
millions of galaxies and potentially billions of planets.

Astrologically, it tells me that Saturn is in Leo.

Time wise, it appears to be approximately a quarter past three.

Theologically, it's evident the Lord is all-powerful and we are small and insignificant.

Meteorologically, it seems we will have a beautiful day tomorrow.

Economically there are mass scales of stars in the sky.
So "Economy of Scale " would be the ideal strategy in that market.

Strategically such market would be a volume driven market

Financially it would be a low margin market.

From HR point of view we would require huge manpower

What does it tell you?"

The Engineer is silent for a moment, then speaks.

"Practically"

Something About Dream ...

• One third of our lives are spent sleeping.

• In your lifetime you will spend about six years of it dreaming.
That is more than 2100 days spent in a different world.

• Everybody dreams. Just because you don’t remember your dreams
it does not mean that you didn’t dream.

• We dream an average of one or two hours every night and we often
have four to seven dreams in one night.

• Five minutes after the end of a dream, half the content is
forgotten. After ten minutes, 99 percent is lost.

• If you are snoring then you cannot be dreaming.

• The word dream stems from the middle English word, ‘dreme’
which means joy and music.

• Men tend to dream more about other men, while women dream
equally about men and women.

• People who give up smoking have longer and more intense dreams.

• Toddlers do not dream about themselves. They don’t appear in their
own dreams until the age of four.

GM vs MICROSOFT

At a computer expo, Bill Gates reportedly compared the computer industry with the auto industry and stated: "If GM had kept up with technology like the computer industry has, we would be driving twenty-five dollar cars that got 1000 miles to the gallon."

In response to Bill's comments, GM issued a press release stating (by Mr. Welch himself):

If GM had developed technology like Microsoft, we would be driving cars with the following characteristics:

1. For no reason whatsoever your car would crash twice a day.

2. Every time they repainted the lines on the road you would have to buy a new car.

3. Occasionally your car would die on the freeway for no reason, and you would just accept this, restart and drive on.

4. Occasionally, executing a maneuver such as a left turn, would cause your car to shut down and refuse to restart, in which case you would have to reinstall the engine.

5. Only one person at a time could use the car, unless you bought "Car95" or "CarNT." But then you have would have to buy more seats.

6. Macintosh would make a car that was powered by the sun, reliable, five times as fast, and twice as easy to drive, but would only run on five percent of the roads.

7. The oil, water temperature and alternator warning lights would be replaced by a single "general car default" warning light.

8. New seats would force everyone to have the same size butt.

9. The airbag system would say "Are you sure?" before going off.

10. Occasionally for no reason whatsoever, your car would lock you out and refuse to let you in until you simultaneously lifted the door handle, turned the key, and grab hold of the radio antenna.

11. GM would require all car buyers to also purchase a deluxe set of Rand McNally road maps (now a GM subsidiary), even though they neither need them nor want them. Attempting to delete this option would immediately cause the car's performance to diminish by 50% or more. Moreover, GM would become a target for investigation by the Justice Department.

12. Every time GM introduced a new model car buyers would have to learn how to drive all over again because none the controls would operate in the same manner as the old car.

An e-mail that I was recently admired and love to share with all

When
The school reopened in June,
And we settled in our new desks and
benches!
When we queued up in book depot,
And got our new books
and notes!
When we wanted two Sundays and no Mondays, yet
managed to line up daily for the morning prayers.
We learnt writing with
slates and pencils, and
Progressed To fountain pens and ball pens and then Micro tips!
When we began drawing with crayons and evolved to
Color pencils and finally sketch pens!
When we started calculating
first with tables and then with
Clarke's tables and advanced to
Calculators and computers!
When we chased one another in the
corridors in Intervals, and returned to the classrooms
Drenched in sweat!
When we had lunch in classrooms, corridors,
Playgrounds,
under the trees and even in cycle sheds!
When all the colors in the world,
Decorated the campus on the Second Saturdays!
Whena single P.T. period in the week's Time Table,
Was awaited more eagerly than the monsoons!
Whencricket was played with writing pads as bats,
And Neckties and socks rolled into balls!
When few played
"kabadi" and "Kho-Kho" in scorching sun,
While others simply played
"book cricket" in the
Confines of classroom!
Of fights but no conspiracies,
Of Competitions but seldom jealousy!
When we used to
watch Live Cricket telecast,
In the opposite house in Intervals and Lunch breaks!
When few rushed at 3:45 to
"Conquer" window seats in our School bus!
Whilefew others had "Big Fun", "peppermint",
"Kulfi", "milk ice!" and "sharbat!" at 4o Clock!
Gone are the days
Of Sports Day,
and the annual School Day,
And the one-month long
preparations for them.
Gone are the days
Of the stressful Quarterly,
Half Yearly and Annual Exams, and the most
enjoyed holidays after them!
Gone are the days
Of tenth and twelfth standards, when
we spent almost the whole year writing revision tests!
We learnt,
We enjoyed,
We played,
We won,
We lost,
We laughed,
We cried,
We fought,
We thought.
With so much fun in them, so many friends,
So much experience, all this and more!
Gone are the days
When we used
to talk for hours with our friends!
Now we don't have time to say a `Hi'!
Gone are the days
When we played games on the road!
Now we
Code on the road with laptop!
Gone are the days
When we saw stars
shining at Night!
Now we see stars when our code doesn't
Work!
Gone are the days
When we sat to chat with Friends on grounds!
Now we chat in chat rooms.....!
Gone are the days
Where we
studied just to pass!
Now we study to save our job!
Gone are the days
Where we had no money in our pockets and still fun filled on our hearts!!
Now we have the atm as well as credit card but with an empty heart!!
Gone are the days
Where we shouted on the road!
Now we don't shout even at home
Gone are the days
Where we got lectures from all!
Now we give lectures to all... like the one I'm doing now....!!
Gone are the days
But not the memories, which will be
Lingering in our hearts for ever and ever and
Ever and ever and ever.....
Gone are the Days.... But still there are lot more Days to come in our Life!!
NO MATTER HOW BUSY YOU ARE,
DONT FORGET TO
LIVE THE LIFE THAT STILL
EXISTS......

I dont know who wrote this... But it really thought provoking.. Salutations to the Author...

What we lost and What we get??

Wondered about the title? I dint meant losing one girl friend and getting a new one. :-)
Life is all the way going fun, hale and healthy. Had great responsibilities, working, earning, loving family members, friends around to entertain, savings, nice Girl or Boy friend(s) etc.. One day we will get married, will have children, soon mid-aged then more responsibilities, expansion in family, things goes on like this. Centuries and centuries have passed on. No man had a different life than this. Everybody lived through their life time and passed away as the time calls them up. But the world still exists healthy and comfort for the next generation to come. Its remaining still fresh for more generations to come. But everyone of us know that our world has changed a lot and still changingeveryday. What we have seen yesterday is not available now. What we experienced last night may not present for the next night. We dont know what will happen next day. As years passed-by we have lost many things as well as gained many things. Ask your heart these questions and try to answer it by yourself.
-Are you still able see your childhood playing ground? If so, are there any children playing?
-If you have children are they playing the same games what you have played in your childhood?
-If you dont have children then watch your other children in your relationship or neighbors.
-You might have seen group of white birds(crane) flying overhead in the evening time while you are young-aged. Just check whether these birds are still flying?
-You might have seen families with more persons as family members. You might have experienced or you might have seen in your neighbor's family. Where are those families now? Are you still seeing any Joint-Families?
-If you hailed from a village, then go back to your village and see whether the greenaries what you have seen in your childhood still exists?
-You can find more number of farmers in a village, they were countless. Think of today's scenario. You can easily count them as there are only handful of farmers now a days and also think about future?
-Where these old folk dances, country-side cultural dances and art-forms has gone?
-Do you think the real Husband-Wife relationship persists in every family today?
-Do you remember the Marbles(Goli) and Tap that we used to play with. Do the children of current age atleast know those?
-People from villages might had experiences with well, lakes, pools and rivers. Those are really amazing. Do our kids are willing to go for that? Even if they are, they dont find these kind of entertainers everywhere.
etc..
There are many etc s and you can add lots of such a kind of lost things to this list. But after all these loses what did we got?We can have another list of things that we gained. We had at both the sides. Positives and Negatives. We can list our positives like internet, communication, wealth, comfortness etc. Here also wecan have many etc s. But this is not what we really have to listen up. What we have to watch is the another side of the coin.
What we have got in the negative side.Let me list some of my thoughts for this.
-Pollution- Did we ever experienced such a bad polluted world in our childhood?
-Cultural destruction(I cant explain this here as it goes to bigger and wider thoughts. I think this should be an another blog topic)
-Un ethical living-Decreased care towards our neighbors and relatives. Do we really know all of our relations and do we have contacts with them really?
-People living in flats and apartments-Do you know all of your neighbors? Have you ever shared your love and affection during any of the festival times? (Some people are there, but not all)
-Look out the children. Are they going outside to play now a days? After they came from school they sit before a computer or before a TV. Didn't they?
etc.,
Still more number of etc s should be added for this list.I have shared this thought not to scare you or anything. It doesn't matter whether we are going to get back our old fantasies or not. Writing such a blog doesn't do anything. Reading this blog also cannot do anything. The world is going to change everyday. Nobody can stop this. This is out of my pain at the corner of my heart and this for the readers to realize their own kind of pain and to look back and say "I really miss you my life"

The Pushing and Pulling Factor in me

Somehow I found that I am moving towards a destination. Whether it is towards the goal I have set or not. Doesn't matter. But still I am moving towardsa goal satisfactory to myself. Satisfactory by what means? Satisfaction of not harming others; satisfaction of being right minded. Is it not enoughfor a nice Gentleman? I could say enough. But the real truth is definitely NOT enough. Then what else is needed? Perseverance? open-minded? personality? Body Language? Respecting others? Responsibility? Yes,everything what I have listed are needed for a nice Gentleman. But this is not only enough. Things said here are knownby everyone and they also know how to gain these too. But many of us will miss-out an important thing. What is it? The answer is.. "Knowing the self". You can say "Exploring the self" or "Identifying the self" what ever. But this is not so easy as it is the real Billion-Trillion-dollar question that is being asked by saints and Yogis for centuries. But only few identified. Still the search goes on. "Knowing the self" doesn't mean something spiritualistic and vedic, even it may, but here I didn't mean't like that. What I meant was "Knowing our inner thoughts", "Finding and recognising the another human thinking in us". Knowing the self, if it goes more deeper, then it can be said as spirualistic. But what I meant here isnot more spirualistic but more meaningful and sensitive.
This includes the folowing
1.Realizing your career path
2.Realizing your level of knowledge
3.Deciding what you are going to be in next 2 years(atleast)
4.Your destination to be reached in next two years of time
5.While moving towards your goal, what pushes you towards that and what pulling you from reaching that?
-etc..few more questions you can add it up as per your own wishes.
The first four questions dont need any explanations as those are the questions raising in everybody's mind knowingly or unknowingly. The fifth number seems to be the most important fact to me(I believe). The force that drives you towards your goal and the force that pulling you out from reaching your goal. This is the point here. It is easy to find out these strengths and forces, but the need of the hour is, how to handle them? This is the right question here. But the ill fact here is no one has the right answer. If you have a strong desire to achieve your goal and if you are facing more pulling-out problems then the tug-of-war is more ferocious. You couldn't manage the crisis here. Its totally controlled by fate and depends upon what and how you worked on? Thats why I said no formula to handle this. Eventhough you couldn't manage the crisis, but there must be an end. Something should win at the end, either your desire or your problems. Even the war between your problems and your desire is happening right before your eyes and your activities are the sole reason for it, you don't have any control over this war. Only thing you could do is to sit back and watch the show. That means "You cannot manage things happening". Nobody has the formula or solution for this. Everyone let them as such and says 'let it happens'.
We can say, things motivating to make a desire or to fix up a goal is also playing as things driving towards achieving it. Hence these are araised once we started fixing the goal. But problems or pulling-out factors are raised once when we start moving towards the goal at various stages of your run-way. Also you can't predict the pulling-out factors to come everytime. They are spontaneous and un-predictable and nobody can say when it will come and stand before us. Hence we can number the problems to be so higher than the positive factors itself. Keeping that in mind, we could suggest a solution for handling the crisis situation. Eventhough we cannot find a complete solution, but we can suggest an alternative for this. Its here....

Instead of waiting for problems to come and solving those(atleast trying to), why can't we try increasing the factors that push you towards your goal? When we increase the weightage in the positive side, there are many a chance to overcome the negative pull. Predicting the problems and trying to solving it is not possible always. Though it is important to do so, improving the pushing factors will definitely make a big difference. It doesn't sure of winning the damn game. But it will make sure of getting yourself working towards your goal.(for sure)

Am I Buyable???

Am I Buyable???
The question I ask to my own soul often is this.. "Am I Buyable?? Do I perform something that I can able to compete in this world?" One of my Mentor in my college days has initiated this thought in me. I always think that everyone should have a thought or a book-mark in their mind about this question.Technically speaking(am an IT Guy ha..ha..:-)...) everone should maintain a tracker of their own issues everyday they are facing and it should be updated regularly. 'Atleast once in every three days, Guys!!'(My manager Says this..Lolz..)
To the business now..
"You should be a good Marketer, though you are an Engineering graduate or a science student" these were the real words of my Mentor. I thought it was not a worthy line to be remembered always. But as the saying goes, "Wisdom will not be taught; they are only found after a long search". (wondering who said this? Not taught to me. I Found after a long search. After all this is also a kind of Wisdom. ha ha..) And i found that wisdom of my own. I was so proud about myself and once I took back my old notes and when I saw my archived mails from my Mentor,I was shocked to saw that was already told by himself. But he doesn't hold any patents for that(really..) may be he may got that wisdom from his own mentor or any other books he read. But that doesn't matter to me. The wisdom I got is more precious and in-valuable.
I am not insist on anybody to ask yourself this question and do it. But i am sharing this as it is available in everyone but we seldom realized it. I am asking to realize. When you write an exam in your school, you are marketing yourself before the teachers; when you are writing an exam in your college, you are marketing yourself before the university that you are capable of holding a graduation. When you attend an interview, i don't need to say that you are marketing yourself before the HR. Every time you complete your project or a task, you are marketing YOU. In the recent days I often think of my career path, and say "Am I going in the RIGHT path? Is this the way I ought to choose? Is this the path that God has decided for me?" But I am not sure always. Actually I am moving in a direction where my everyday works drives me. "Don't I have any goals to achieve?" Yes, I do have. But will that be a reasonable one? Who knows. Life is like a Share Market. We can say the best time to investment and redempt by seeing the past fluctuations of the market. But we could never predict the same when it comes for a real-time or current market. As it is we can compare and comment anybody's life by seeing their past life. But we could never suggest an exact model or solution for current issues.
Life always goes with assumptions, confidents and trusts. (Think I am Deviating???)
So, Ask Questions to yourself folks. Its not important to answer all your own questions, but more the questions you raise is more the wisdom you will receive. Wondering how?? here it is... Once when you learn to raise questions and as a result if you had more questions, you will try searching forthe answers(Knowingly or Unknowingly) Your search for life starts from there. May your search returns answers or not, but your search will drive your life to a different level that you have never been in to. Search is the NIRVANA of life. Its not the matter of finding right answers as I said, its the matter of finding solutions. Some times you may end up with no solutions at all. But really that vacant state is the real solution for your search. Search never ends. Questions are the real initiative for a search. once you learn raising questions, you are in the right direction of yor life.
"Am I performing?"
"Am I doing well?"
"Am I really worth competing?"
"Am I really marketing myself well?"
"Am I buyable?(really)"
those are the type of questions that often raised knowingly or unknowingly in everyone. But it doesn't ensure of an answer. No need of getting too. But asking and searching is worth than finding the fact...
